Mozilla has decided again to redesign the Firefox logo and the Mozilla seeks users help in redesigning Firefox Logo. But this time the plan is not only to create new icon of Firefox but to create new design of all icons for mobile, apps etc.

“As an icon, that fast fox with a flaming tail doesn’t offer enough design tools to represent this entire product family,” Mozilla designers wrote in a blog post. Now company wants users to comment on its blog “Evolving the Firefox Brand” feedback what the icons should look Like.

These two options offer a “master brand” icon.

Firefox shared two system approaches for users to seek feedback regarding design to reinvent new logo. Both system offer a masterband icon along with auxiliary logos that represent its standalone apps.

“Each individual icon will undergo several rounds of refinement, or may change entirely, between now and their respective product launches. Our focus at this point is on the system,” the company said.

While asking for users feedback, the company also warns them that theses logo are ‘still a work of fictions and the icons are not final’.

The company also informs that this change will come together ‘over the next few months’ based on user feedback, formal user testing, and ‘our product knowledge and design sensibilities’. However, this is only to seek users help regarding choosing best logo as users are not allowed to design.
