Mobilink and TeamUp to Launch Largest tech incubation center in Pakistan

Mobilink and TeamUp to Launch Largest tech incubation center in Pakistan. Government will help them under the ICT R & D fund to foster digital culture in Pakistan.

Mobilink and TeamUp have won the contract from Pakistani government to launch first largest tech National Incubation Center in Islamabad under the ICT R&D fund.

The purpose of this contract between Pakistani government and Mobilink is to make digital Pakistan and to boost tech ecosystem across the country.

This initiative will help to bridge the gap between entrepreneurs and investors. It will also inspire youth and young entrepreneur, those who have innovative ideas but no mentorship as well as lack of funds.

This contract worth almost $ 5.5 M to set up incubation center will help to grow entrepreneur culture across Pakistan. It will provide all type of facilities to foster innovation under the name of “Jazz XLR8 Program”.

Mobilink and their service delivery partner TeamUp will start this in July to mentor a minimum number of startups across Pakistan every year.

On this ceremony, Dr.Ismail Shah, The ICT R&D CEO said, “We are excited to launch the National Incubation Center to support the talented youth of Pakistan and an experienced partner like Mobilink will definitely help in raising the bar for startups in the country.”

Zouhair Khaliq and Parvaiz Abbasi, seasoned industry veterans will lead this operation to enhance entrepreneurial and digital culture in Pakistan. On this great occasion, all were hopeful for the success of National Incubation Center that will help to grow startup culture in Pakistan.
