Google to soon bring in Confidential Mode for Gmail

Google has announced recently a new web design for Gmail including a Confidential Mode for Gmail as well as ability to snooze emails, indirect Google calendar access and desktop smart replies.

According to the company, new function will also allow users to stop recipients from copying, downloading or forwarding certain emails.

According to The Verge published report, Gmail users may require a passcode to open mail generated via text in near future.

The company also in an email to G Suite users informed about revamping Gmail for web users.

Gmail Increases File attachment size for users up to 50MB

 A Google spokesperson told TechCrunch:

“We’re working on some major updates to Gmail (they’re still in draft phase). We need a bit more time to compose ourselves, so can’t share anything yet — archive this for now, and we’ll let you know when it’s time to hit send.
